SRS´ sound installation took place in April 25th of 2021 in Cukshon Doag, which is a peak located in Arizona that is a historically sacred site of the Tohono O’odham Nation.

In the early 20th century, Griffith Construction destroyed a large area in the habitat to extract materials for construction in the city of Tucson. It now holds public park status.
The intention of this installation was to experience the stillness that this quarry holds, and to let the environment speak through its own natural acoustics by resonating with the vibrations produced by the musicians and the audience - and vice versa.
